POLISH FARM

NEWS#1
The Polish Farm Advisory is the coordinator of the SUST-AID (Environmentally Sustainable Food Aid programs in Europe: Vocational educational training for strengthening capacities and program delivery) project which focuses on preventing food loss, but also improving key competences during training sessions, providing input on the actual needs and gaps of the project’s target group, and improving green skills acquisition and maximizing employability opportunities.
In September, the partnership will meet in Warsaw, Poland for a 5-day blended mobility event during which all the developed training activities (presentations, experiential exercises, practical activities, etc.) will be performed with the participation of the actual target groups.

NEWS#2
The Polish Farm Advisory was invited to collaborate in the MAP4N (The Agripreneurship! MAPs for NEETs) project which focuses on enhancing agricultural entrepreneurship within the sector of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.
Currently, the project is in the phase of Non-formal Toolkit development and some of the modules cover subjects of financial analysis and management, marketing and negotiations, access to national and international funds, scaling-up the business, and digital opportunities. In the era of information and communication, transversal/soft skills gained more importance, since it is not enough to have expertise in only one field due to sectors’ being nested into each other. The aim of the toolkit is to increase the agricultural entrepreneurship spirit and equip young people with the necessary soft skills and sector knowledge.
